Apparently envious of Google's fun in the Kai Fu Lee case, in which Microsoft sued to prevent a headhunting exploit from proceeding, Yahoo! is being served by Nuance Communications, which alleges that Yahoo! hired over a dozen Nuance engineers who were completing an interactive speech project that it intended to market to Yahoo! and others. Ouch. Nuance is asking a Santa Clara judge today to block the engineers from going to work.
