I don't link to much multimedia content here, since it's rare to find audio and video related to JavaScript. Today's
an exception:
Brendan Eich, who you may know as the creator of JavaScript, gave a presentation on Mozilla's APIs at O'Reilly's
Emerging Technology Conference (eTech) in March. Thanks to IT Conversations, you can now listen to an audio version of
his speech: Building and Surviving Remixable
Applications.
He discusses Mozilla's plug-in and scriptability APIs, the XUL language that defines its user interface, and the
future plans for APIs. In these days of the remixable web it's nice to
know that one of the browsers is determined to be as remixable as possible.
