A couple of updates on Greasemonkey, the Firefox extension that lets you script any site:
-
Greasemonkey now has its own weblog. Greasemonkey creator Aaron Boodman and Jeremy Dunck, who runs the script repository, will be posting there, and have already added some good content.
-
Greasemonkey 0.2.5 has been released. New features include XMLHttpRequest across domains, which should enable some really interesting user scripts, and a feature to allow user scripts to add items to Firefox's Tools menu. [Update: there may be some issues with 0.2.5. Details here.][Further update: get version 0.2.6 instead.]
