Steve at SlayerOffice has created another impressive example of a JavaScript
navigation menu. Inspired by the Flash menu at Well Vetted, he created a
very similar menu that uses JavaScript. As you move over the
menu, the buttons fade to black gradually, using an expanding layer.
The only issue I noticed was a distracting (but cool-looking) flash on all of the links when I quickly move the cursor
down the menu. I was going to complain about the link text reappearing one character at a time, but that turns out to
have been intentional. All in all, nice work!
Steve is also
joining the
anti-DHTML movement. Soon those five unrelated
letters will be just a memory…
