Netscape's DevEdge site, once the sole source of documentation for JavaScript, has been unreachable for a few days. This is apparently the result of a licensing miscommunication between Netscape and the Mozilla Foundation. DevEdge was somewhat outdated and there are plenty of other sources of JavaScript documentation now—including the official ECMAScript standards—but I must admit I still referred to DevEdge from time to time. Hopefully this will turn out to be a temporary problem.
